How is a POT Settings request submitted through the workflow? RP-30398

The POT Settings feature enables users to define and assign individual objectives and performance targets to employees. These objectives are aligned with departmental (DOT) and company-level (COT) goals to ensure a unified and structured approach to performance management across all levels of the organization.

  1. Access the Request Form
    Navigate to: Workflow → New Request → POT Setting
  2. Select the Required Information
    • Select the Year from the dropdown menu.
    • Choose the relevant Company and Department.
    • Select the Employee from the available list. (Only employees assigned to the selected department will be listed.)
  3. Submit the Request
    Click Submit to initiate the POT Settings workflow for the selected employee.

Note:
Previously initiated combinations of Year, Company, Department, and Employee, along with their Status, will be displayed in the Initiated List.

Setting Personnel Objectives

Once the workflow is initiated, users can define and manage individual objectives for the employee.

  1. View Supporting Information
    • Click the DOT Objective button to view departmental objectives, helping ensure alignment with team and organizational goals.
    • Click the Objective History button to review the employee’s previously assigned objectives.
  2. Set Objectives
    Click the Set Objective button to begin adding new individual objectives.
    For each objective, complete the following fields:
    • Description: Enter a clear, specific, and measurable objective.
    • Status: Select the current status (e.g., Planned, In Progress, Completed).
    • Target Time: Specify the expected completion date or timeframe.
    • Weightage: Assign a percentage to indicate the objective’s importance or impact.
    • Attachment (Optional): Upload supporting documents or evidence, if available.
  3. Save and Submit
    • Click Save after entering each objective.
    • Once all objectives have been reviewed and finalized, click Submit to complete the task.

Review and Approval Process

After submission:

  • The assigned reviewer or manager will receive the request as part of the workflow.
  • Objectives will be reviewed for clarity, relevance, and alignment with departmental and company goals.
  • Upon approval, the POT Settings process for the selected employee is complete.
