The COT Settings feature allows users to define and manage company objectives and performance targets for a specific year. This ensures strategic alignment across departments and enables effective performance tracking at the organizational level.
- Access the Request Form
Navigate to: Workflow → New Request → COT Settings - Select Year and Company
- Select the appropriate Year from the dropdown list.
- Choose the relevant Company from the Company Details section.
- Submit the Request
Click Submit to initiate the COT settings process for the selected year and company.
Note:
- All previously initiated combinations of Year and Company, along with their current Status, will be displayed in the Initiated List.
- Duplicate entries for the same year and company are not allowed.
How to Set Company Objectives
Once the COT Settings request has been initiated, users can proceed to define specific company objectives.
- Open the Task
In the initiated request, click the Set Objective button. - Enter Objective Details
For each objective, fill in the following fields:- Description: Provide a clear and specific objective statement.
- Status: Choose the current status (e.g., Planned, Ongoing, Completed).
- Target Time: Specify the expected completion time or deadline.
- Weightage: Assign a weight (in percentage) to reflect the objective’s importance.
- Attachment (Optional): Upload any relevant documents or references.
- Save and Submit the Task
- Click Save to record each objective.
- Once all objectives have been added and reviewed, click Submit to finalize the task.
Review and Approve Remaining Tasks
After the objectives have been submitted:
- The responsible reviewer or approver (as per workflow) will receive the request.
- Review the submitted objectives for accuracy, alignment, and completeness.
- Approve the task to complete the COT Settings cycle for the selected year and company.
