The DOT Monitoring feature enables users to monitor and update the progress of department-level objectives and targets defined through the DOT Settings process. It supports ongoing performance tracking, transparent progress reporting, and ensures departmental alignment with company-wide goals.
- Access the Request Form
Navigate to: Workflow → New Request → DOT Monitoring - Select Year and Department
- Select the appropriate Year from the dropdown list.
- The Department List will automatically display only those departments with completed DOT Settings for the selected year.
- Choose the desired Department.
- Submit the Request
Click Submit to initiate the DOT Monitoring workflow.
Note:
All previously initiated monitoring requests—including those from prior years—will appear in the Initiated List, showing details such as Year, Process Number, Department, and Status.
Managing Objectives in DOT Monitoring
Once the monitoring workflow is initiated, users can track and update progress using the following steps:
- View or Modify Objectives
- Click the Objective History button to view the update history for any objective.
- Use the Modify button to edit details of an existing objective, if needed.
- Enter Objective Progress
- In the Action column, click the Edit icon next to the objective you wish to update.
- A form will appear to capture the updated Progress Percentage (e.g., 40%, 70%).
- Enter the appropriate value and click Save to record the update.
- Submit the Task
After all relevant updates have been made and reviewed, click Submit to complete the DOT Monitoring task.
Review and Approval Process
Once submitted:
- The task will be routed to the assigned reviewer or approver as per the workflow.
- The updates will be reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with overall goals.
- Upon approval, the DOT Monitoring cycle for the selected year and department is considered complete.
