How to assign Organization HOD (Head of Department)? RP-20234

Personnel Administration  

The Head of Department (HOD) can be assigned to an organization in two ways using the Personnel Administration module.

Available Pages:

  1. Personnel Administration → Organization Management → Assign Organization HOD
  2. Personnel Administration → Organization Management → Manage Organization

Method 1: Assign via "Assign Organization HOD" Page

Navigation: Personnel Administration → Organization Management → Assign Organization HOD

Steps:

  1. Open the Assign Organization HOD page.
  2. Select the organization for which the HOD needs to be assigned.
  3. Select the appropriate HOD employee from the list.
  4. Click Save to apply the selection.

Method 2: Assign via "Manage Organization" Page

Navigation: Personnel Administration → Organization Management → Manage Organization

Steps:

  1. Open the Manage Organization page.
  2. Locate and edit the organization record from the grid.
  3. In the edit view, search and select the Organization Head employee from the popup.
  4. Click Save to update the record.
  • The HOD employee can be assigned to or removed from an organization using either of the above pages.
  • Only one HOD can be assigned per organization at a time.
