How to create a new project in the system? RP-30380

Personnel Administration  

The Manage Projects feature allows administrators to create and maintain project records within the organization, along with associated financial and organizational details.

Navigation Path:

Personnel Administration → Settings → Manage Projects

  1. Select and Enter the Following Details:
    • Project Type: Choose the type of project.
    • Status: Select the project status (e.g., Active, On-Hold, Completed).
    • Company: Choose the company under which the project is being created.
    • OU / Cost Centre / Profit Centre: Select the relevant organizational unit or cost/profit center.
    • Project Code: Enter a unique identifier/code for the project.
    • Parent Project (optional): Select a parent project if this is a sub-project.
    • Project Name: Provide a descriptive name for the project.
    • Country: Select the country where the project is based or executed.
    • Currency: Choose the applicable currency for financial transactions.
    • Start Date: Enter the project start date.
    • End Date: Enter the expected or actual end date.
    • Active: Check this box to mark the project as active.
  2. Click Save
    • Once all details are entered, click Save to create the project in the system.

Projects created here can be linked while creating a new user to associate them with specific project assignments.
