How to create and manage Profile Leave Settings? RP-30415

Leave Management  

The Manage Profile Leave Settings page under the Leave Management module allows configuration of leave policies for specific employee profiles.

Navigation Path: Leave Management → Settings → Manage Profile Leave Settings

  1. Basic Settings:
    • Select the Leave Type
    • Select the Profile
    • Enter:
      • Supporting Documents (if required)
      • Can Only Request Leave After (number of days after joining or eligibility)
      • Eligibility Settings
  2. Advanced Settings:
    • Encashment Settings – Define if and how unused leave can be encashed
    • Carry Forward Settings – Set rules for carrying forward unused leave
    • Excess Leave Settings – Define handling of leave taken beyond entitlement
    • Accrual Settings – Configure periodic leave accrual rules
    • Applicable Categories – Specify employee categories the settings apply to
  3. Penalty Settings:
    • Configure Absent Days Penalty Details
  4. Notification Settings:
    • Set Notification Days
    • Configure Alerts
  5. Save the Configuration:
    • Click Save to apply the leave policy settings to the selected profile.
