The Manage Dashboards feature enables administrators to create and configure custom dashboards by selecting relevant charts, defining chart properties, and setting display parameters. This allows for flexible and role-based data visualization tailored to specific modules and organizational units.
Navigation Path: System Admin → Dashboard Settings → Manage Dashboards
Steps to Configure a Dashboard:
- Select Module- Choose the relevant module for which the dashboard is being created. This ensures the dashboard is aligned with the module's functionality.
- Select Chart Properties- Select one or more chart properties to define how data will be visualized.
- Select Chart Type- Choose the desired chart type (e.g., Bar, Pie, Line) that best represents the data.
- Select Charts- Assign the charts to be included on the dashboard. You may choose multiple charts to provide a comprehensive view.
- Enter Dashboard Name- Provide a unique and descriptive name for the dashboard. This will be used to identify it within the system.
- Enter Query- Define the query that will retrieve the data displayed on the dashboard. Ensure the query is optimized and returns the necessary data fields.
- OU Permission Required (Optional)- Enable this setting if the dashboard's visibility should be restricted based on Organizational Unit (OU) permissions. This ensures data is accessible only to authorized users.
- Click Save- After completing all configurations, click Save to create and store the dashboard.
