How to Manage Dashboards? RP-40522

System Admin

The Manage Dashboards feature enables administrators to create and configure custom dashboards by selecting relevant charts, defining chart properties, and setting display parameters. This allows for flexible and role-based data visualization tailored to specific modules and organizational units.

Navigation Path: System Admin → Dashboard Settings → Manage Dashboards

Steps to Configure a Dashboard:

  1. Select Module- Choose the relevant module for which the dashboard is being created. This ensures the dashboard is aligned with the module's functionality.
  2. Select Chart Properties- Select one or more chart properties to define how data will be visualized.
  3. Select Chart Type- Choose the desired chart type (e.g., Bar, Pie, Line) that best represents the data.
  4. Select Charts- Assign the charts to be included on the dashboard. You may choose multiple charts to provide a comprehensive view.
  5. Enter Dashboard Name- Provide a unique and descriptive name for the dashboard. This will be used to identify it within the system.
  6. Enter Query- Define the query that will retrieve the data displayed on the dashboard. Ensure the query is optimized and returns the necessary data fields.
  7. OU Permission Required (Optional)- Enable this setting if the dashboard's visibility should be restricted based on Organizational Unit (OU) permissions. This ensures data is accessible only to authorized users.
  8. Click Save- After completing all configurations, click Save to create and store the dashboard.
