The profile level leave settings can be set thru settings page available under Leave Management module.

Leave Management -> Settings -> Manage Profile Leave Settings

Any leave type can be editted and modified here. When the profile leave settings are modilfied the leave settings of all the employees who use the same leave profile will be automatically changed. If the modifiled profile settings to be applied for the leave settings customized employees also then the 'Save effect to customized employees' check box shown above the Save button should be selected.
