How to set up a new attendance device in the Attendance module? RP-30410

Attendance  

The Device Setup option under the Attendance module is used to configure biometric or other attendance tracking devices.

How to Set Up a Device:

  1. Navigate to: Attendance → Settings → Device Setup
  2. Enter the Required Details:
    • Select Location (where the device is installed)
    • Device Name
    • Device ID
    • Floor (optional, if applicable)
    • Type – Specify whether the device is for IN or OUT
    • Check the Device for Attendance option to enable it for attendance tracking
  3. Save the Configuration: Click Save to complete the device setup.
