The Device Setup option under the Attendance module is used to configure biometric or other attendance tracking devices.
How to Set Up a Device:
- Navigate to: Attendance → Settings → Device Setup
- Enter the Required Details:
- Select Location (where the device is installed)
- Device Name
- Device ID
- Floor (optional, if applicable)
- Type – Specify whether the device is for IN or OUT
- Check the Device for Attendance option to enable it for attendance tracking
- Save the Configuration: Click Save to complete the device setup.
