How to submit a Maintenance Request through the workflow? RP-30391

The Maintenance Request feature allows users to report issues or request maintenance services or items directly through the HR application. This ensures timely resolution of facility-related problems and helps maintain smooth and efficient operations.

  1. Access the Request Form
    Navigate to: Workflow → New Request → Maintenance Request
    Select the relevant employee under Requested For.
  2. Enter Request Details
    Fill in the following fields in the form:
    • Request Type: Select the relevant category for the maintenance issue or requirement.
    • Description: Provide a clear and detailed explanation of the maintenance work or item needed.
    • Quantity: Specify the number of items or units involved.
    • Price: Enter the estimated or actual cost, if available.
  3. Submit the Request
    Once all required fields are completed and reviewed, click Submit to initiate the approval workflow.

Once submitted:

The request is routed through the necessary approval workflow.

Upon approval, it is forwarded to the appropriate Maintenance or Facilities Department for action and resolution.
