What are the GOSI Calculation formula used for Employee Deduction and Employer Contribution? RP-20286

Personnel Administration  

The normal GOSI Calculation formula used are:

  1. Saudi Employee
    1. GOSI Employee Deduction is mapped in the Contracts & Benefits page
      1. It automatically calculate the value if the attribute selected is ‘GOSI Employee Contribution Local
      2. Formula is: (Basic Salary + House Allowance + HRDF) * 0.10
      3. If NO Housing Allowance then for GOSI Calculation Housing Allowance is treated as (Basic Salary * 2)/12
      4. If (Basic Salary + House Allowance + HRDF) > 45,000 then
        • GOSI Employee Deduction = 4050
      • Else    
        • GOSI Employee Deduction = (Basic Salary + House Allowance + HRDF) * 0.10
  1. GOSI Employer Contribution will come in costing side since it will not affect employee payments
    1. The calculated value shows in Payroll Process under Save Master stage ‘GOSI Employer Contribution’ column
    2. Formula is: (Basic Salary + House Allowance + HRDF) * 0.12
    3. If January Payroll Salary Benefits exists use that else use current benefits for calculation
    4. If NO Housing Allowance then for GOSI Calculation Housing Allowance is treated as (Basic Salary * 2)/12
  1. Non Saudi Employee
    1. GOSI Employer Contribution will come in costing side since it will not affect employee payments
      1. The calculated value shows in Payroll Process under Save Master stage ‘GOSI Employer Contribution’column
      2. Formula is:  (Basic Salary + House Allowance + HRDF) * 0.02
      3. If January Payroll Salary Benefits exists use that else use current benefits for calculation
      4. If NO Housing Allowance then for GOSI Calculation Housing Allowance is treated as (Basic Salary * 2)/12
