ESB calculation is based on the ESB Factor and ESB Period settings defined against each separation type's under ESB Settings

Normal Calculation for some of the Separation types are:

For e.g.  Calculation for Termination and Contract End separation type's are:

• less than 5  years work in company = (Total salary x no. of working years x 1/2 ).
• More than 5 years work in company = (Total salary x 5 years x 1/2 ) + (Total salary x No. of remaining years).

For e.g. Calculation for Resign separation type is:

• Less than 2 years work in company =0.
• 2-5 years work in company = (Total salary x no. of working years x 1/6 ).
• 5-10 years work in company - first 5 years = (Total salary x 5 x 1/3 ) + (Total salary x No. of remaining years).
